Not bad

It's not bad at all. It lets us know that you have a lot of ability. If I could give you any advice that sticks, let it be that music needs to be dynamic. The first bit of the song isn't really going anywhere. Then it goes into half time (really great effect when implemented correctly), but then it goes back into the same thing as it opened with. Just try to make your music always be going somewhere. Listeners need to feel like they are being led somewhere instead of just standing in one place. No matter how beautiful scene is, it's easy to get tired of it unless you're always seeing more beautiful scenes.

You had it at first..

The chords that you've got going (along with the pleasant beats) were a really great start, but they never change, so it makes me want to hear more of the song, not just the same chords over and over again. Additionally, the bongo part could be a bit softer. It would be more balanced that way in addition to letting the song has some mystery to it. That sounds weird, i know, but the more you make people listen hard to something to pick it out, the better.

A Good Idea

You obviously had a great idea going into the making of this. It's a bit redundant after a while. It would go great as a backgroung loop on a video game menu or something. For some reason it makes me think of Metroid Prime. The ending is appropriate, which not many people do very well. Most of the time, endings are either too abrupt or too different from the rest of the song. This one, however, fits in very well. Good job.

Abstract-ness

Sounds like it's based on a 12-tone key. I bet you did this as your first fruity loops song. Am I correct? That's ok. ^_^ we all have a few of these.

yeah, i hate this too....so bad XD, its a really old fl song i made like when i just started with it dunno why i uploaded it here XD

Really cool!

This sounds really great! It's a really well balanced song. Please make more like this! This beginning is certainly most powerful part of it. Is this made in FL? My only criticism is that the ending is a unnaturally abrupt. Besides that, it's terrific!

Moving!

Downloading this one for sure. I love the feeling it gives me. It reminds me of when the main character of a game or story has just lost something important to him/her, so now it's personal. Lol. It would also so work well on the credits of a game or the intro to a tv show. I really like it! Make more! Now!

Thanks a lot , I put a lot of work into this song. Go ahead and check out my other stuff. My brother and I are putting an album together. thanks for the review!

Very Electric! -And I agree about the cpu hogging!

This reminds me of playing the old gameboy zelda games and metriod games. I like the swing that you put into it! It works really well. It's obvious that it was with Fruity Loops (At least I think so. I've spent enough countless hours on it like most of us to be able to tell, lol.) I know what you mean about RAM hogging instruments too; very annoying. I like the song though!!

Energetic

I like the over all "atmosphere" of the song, if that makes sense. The same rifts are used and all, but I still really like it! The synth really is used quite well! Keep up the really great work!

Energetic; makes me feel like taking action.

I love the energy that this has now. Not that the original different, but your take on it really shines it up. This would be a great song for the climax of a great action game or film. Great job on it!! I look forward to hearing more of your work!

Very original

I love it when I can find or make a good song that is easy listening, but stands out enough so that It actually has character. You pulled this off very well. I love the mix of guitar and synth. The guitar alone seems to be in 6/8 time signature but then the drums make it an obvious common time. In musical terms, that's called a hemiola and it's very hard to pull off and still make it sound like it belongs, but you did it beautifully.

DomesticTerrorist responds:

Yeah, it was a lot of slicing/tempo change in cubase with the guitar before I exported it for use in FL :P

Thanks for noticing!
